The Mid-year Region 1 Dan Shim Sa will be held at Sanderson High School on Saturday June 7th at 9am.  Dan candidates from the Bees Creek and Nightcliff dojangs will be taking part. 

Thor Ulstrup Jo Kyo Nim will be taking a special class from 8am to 9am covering some of the training he did recently in the Philippines.

All members are invited to the training session and/or to watch the Dan Shim Sa.

Travelling interstate?  Don't forget there are Dojangs in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra that you are more than welcome to visit and train at.

A new section has been added to the site - Member Profiles.  A new profile will be added regularly - and will allow you to find out more information about the members that train in Region 1. 

First profile up is one of our latest Dan Members - Darren Jewell.

At the request of Austin SBN, the web site has a new Student Resources section.

This section will be made up of articles, essays, etc submitted by YOU to assist and benefit other students from across the region, the country and around the world.

The R1 committee has penciled in the following dates for events this year.  The camp and tournament dates have been set to give members ample time to organise themselves for those events.

Dan Shim Sa - June 7th.

R1 Camp - August 1st to 4th.

R1 Tournament - October 18th.

Dan Shim Sa - November 29th.

2008 SEALS - December 13th - 17th (Tentative, Malaysia).
